Ironwood Chinese Weapon Stand

This handcarved piece consists of eight weapon battlements housed in a heavy wood stand.  The tip of each spear has a uniquely carved symbol of the original weapon battlements used for training in Kung Fu and Chinese Martial arts.   An overall motif of dragon and bamboo enhanced the sides and feet of the stand and spear poles.  The "Shi" dragons, (lions or dogs) are mythically believed to provide protective powers.
