Chinese Wedding Collar

This custom cut triple matted piece is intricately detailed with embroidered silk on silk flowers, butterflies, locusts, birds, seeds etc.  Each elaborately cut silk panel is stitched together via metallic threads incorporating metal beads and water pearls.  Beautifully designed collars of this type were traditionally used in wedding ceremonies.
