Wood Folding Chairs with Hemp seats (Pair)

These handcarved,low seated accent chairs are from India.  The seat is constructed of a heavy woven hemp and is very durable.  Each back rest is uniquely carved; one with a horse and one with a peacock.  Both chairs have a center rossette with additional scrollwork detail.   The back rail tips have a horsehead carving.  The legs are decoratively turned and each chair folds down creating a stool-like seat.
