Imperial Clothing Rack

Intricately carved gold painted figures greatly enhance the beauty of this piece.  Three unique panels depict true-to-life scenes pertaining to daily life activities of rural China.  The back side of each panel is decorated with gold painted scroll work and floral designs. Functional and decorative in design, the corner lattice wing tips and footwear pins allow for draping clothes and holding shoes all in one place.
