Indonesian Teak Rice Chest Display Case

This display chest was originally used in Indonesia for rice storage.  It also served as a bed platform for sleeping.  The chest was converted into a display cabinet by removing the lid and replacing it with heavy glass to create a magnificent display cabinet.  This is a unique one-of-a-kind piece of furniture.
