Maori War Club

The artist of this war club is Kahu of the Wanganui Tribe.  This piece depicts the God of War  riding on the back of the guardian, Maraia. The wood is from an old church in Auckland New Zealand.  Aside from being a war club, it is also an emasculator.  The eyes are Mother of Pearl.
