Tibetan Thangka

This beautiful hand-painted Thangka is from Katmandu. It depicts the Life of Buddha incorporating several rotational scenes of which His very elaborate story unfolds.  The Thangka is mounted on sild with five ascending boarders that attract the eye to its center. A yellow silk drape is attached to the top.
